Here is where Adya plays an important role to handhold entrepreneurs in every stage of their business. Adya is an initiative to promote and support aspiring as well as established rural women entrepreneurs. Adya enables partnerships between Rural women and existing ventures. Our services would be dependent on a tie-up with self-help groups, non-governmental organizations, already-existing businesses, banks, and government agencies. Customers will need an electronic device (a phone would suffice) and a decent internet connection to use the website. The venture also aims at building a bridge between manufacturers (of handicrafts) and the consumers. There is a vast market for the products both on national as well as global level. A supply chain will have to be established and the whole process needs to be simplified. This can be done easily with the help of technology. We offer all the services at a single place, so the customers (rural women) do not have to seek support of any other organization. |

As the DAY-NRLM program encompasses a large number of stakeholders, it becomes pertinent to create technology processes to streamline financial transactions, livelihood, and other transactions. DAY-NRLM scheme had been facing the following problems:
⦁ Data collection and Digitization were performed at different times – first recorded on paper by the Bookkeeper and then digitized at the block or CLF office
⦁ There were no checks on the collected data leading to erroneous and incomplete data
⦁ Transaction data of CBO was not Digitized and resulted in duplication of data
⦁ The existing system was at the block level and not the community level
⦁ There was a lot of delay in the onboarding of CBOs
⦁ There were no standardized methods for administration for the staff
⦁ CRPs spend time travelling to Block office- Late availability of Data
⦁ Unavailability of effective decision-making system
To enable the process and keep up their mission in providing appreciable improvement in their livelihoods on a sustainable basis, by building strong grassroots institutions, DAY-NRLM seeks to create plausible solutions through the LokOS application. DAY-NRLM under the partnership of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) has been working on the development of “LokOS application” to enable end-to-end computerization of SHG network to capture the financial transactions, livelihoods and convergence-led activities of their members.
Apart from regular transactions of the SHG and Federations’ LokOS application also has a provision to integrate various new applications developed to cater to other specific needs of the programme (these applications maybe interchangeably called ‘Use Cases’ or ‘Trickle-Down Application’ or ‘Allied Applications’). Subsequently national and state level data is stored in the Central Instance Warehouse inside the core application, which encompasses consolidation of data from the state-level instances and provides Member/CBO profile data for integration by other ‘Use-Case’ applications that are being conceptualized. |

The Mid Day Meal scheme was introduced for providing cooked meals to all children studying in classes 1st to 8th in Government and Aided schools. The scheme aims to enhance enrolment, retention and attendance of the children enrolled in Government, Government-Aided Schools and Madrasas, while simultaneously improving nutritional levels among children.
Considering the large number of beneficiaries and vide array of stakeholders in the implementation at grass-root level such as the involvement of SHGs, NGOs and the Cooks-Cum-Helpers, the Government of Madhya Pradesh has set-up MP State Mid Day Meal Council as a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to undertake focused and effective implementation MDM Scheme in State. The Council functions under Rural Development Department of the Government of Madhya Pradesh. The Council manpower functions under the Office of Zilla Panchayat at district level and undertakes the required functions.
Key stakeholders and operations in the implementation of the scheme
• Over 1,12,000 schools
• 2.1 lakh Cooks-cum-Helpers and each cook is paid an honorarium every month for 10 months barring summer holidays.
• 1.12 lakh cooking agencies and each agency is paid cooking cost every month for 10 months barring summer holidays.
• e-Release Orders for supply of food grains 91,000 metric tons / Year
• Fund flow and online financial transactions of ~ Rs. 1,200 crores / Year |
