    I recently completed a comprehensive UX audit of the DigiLocker search interface across both web and mobile platforms, identifying significant friction points caused by strict keyword matching and inconsistent cross-platform results. To resolve these issues and elevate the user experience, I have outlined a strategic set of technical requirements for a modernized search architecture. This upgrade proposes the integration of predictive text to anticipate user intent and reduce keystrokes, alongside voice input support to improve accessibility and offer a hands-free alternative. Additionally, I have redefined the empty search state to eliminate user dead-ends by proactively suggesting alternative spellings, offering quick links to the Help Center, and providing pathways to browse by government department categories, ensuring a much smoother and more reliable document discovery process.
